Today's middle-age women want a partner who can
keep up with them. The sad fact is men still age
earlier, slow down earlier, die an average 10 years
before women.

All that's true, says singles columnist Tom Blake,
but that doesn't keep younger men with older women, in
his experience.
Blake, whose column, Single Again, appears in The
Orange County Register, counsels singles through his
Web site, www.findingloveafter50.com. He says older
women like to hook up with younger guys for, frankly,
just one thing:
"After the novelty and chemistry wears off - like
sure, they're better in bed - they want somebody more
mature. In my experience, the age difference is
significant."
And women who stick with guys their own age often
find out they can't teach them new tricks, he says.
"A lot of women put up with stuff from guys and
think they'll change them over time," Blake says. "But
you know why some guys try to get away with stuff
(like sex on the first date)? Because they can." |
